Motogiro Alpes Maritimes Mk III 2022 1 – 5 giugno
Amici,
Motogiro Alpes Maritimes 2022 1 – 5 giugno, in sommi capi, 40 amici ed amiche, splendide moto, guida favolosa, 1’500 km di strade spettacolari, dimore stupende, alberghi accoglienti, cibo gustoso – tutto in 5 giorni che vorresti non finissero mai! Formeremo possibilmente due gruppi, uno più compassato ed un altro più veloce che sceglierà strade con un profilo più impegnativo e distanze più estese.
Si parte il 1 giugno DISCOVERY da Lugano, ed in altre città come Bologna, Roma e Verona si formeranno altri gruppi con il loro Road Book che li porterà alla prima tappa della partenza, verso il Castello di Bubbio, Alessandria, il distaccamento Lugano si inoltrerà dalle Valli Varesine sul Lago Maggiore, da Borgomanero saliamo nelle Prealpi Biellesi sulla Panoramica Zegna SS232, Quittengo per poi scendere su Biella e Candelo, dove pranzeremo Locanda La Greppia. Da qui ripartiamo attraversando le pianure del Vercellese, il Principato di Lucedio, il Po, verso le colline sotto i borghi e castelli astigiani, e finalmente nelle Langhe, da Canelli verso il Castello di Bubbio, la nostra meta di ritrovo, cena, pernotto e partenza verso la Francia dopo la prima colazione del giorno dopo.
Il 2 giugno MERCURY partendo da Castello di Bubbio, saliamo sulla dorsale delle Alte Langhe verso Garessio, Pieve di Teco, Col di Nava e sotto il Monte Monega verso Triora, il paese arroccato delle streghe, a pranzo alla Trattoria L’Erba Gatta. Ripartendo, seguiamo verso Sudovest gli alti rilievi sulla nostra destra che sagnano il confine con la Francia, in direzione di Ventimiglia, Isolabona, poco dopo svoltiamo per Trucco, qui risaliamo la valle Roia verso il passo Oliveta sul confine francese, qui entriamo sui tornanti tra pinete e rocce calcaree che ci portano verso Sospel, un rinfresco e rifornimento, poi l’Escarène ed è subito Nizza, passiamo davanti al Museo Matisse, parcheggiamo le moto Parking Nice Promenade des Arts, St Jean Baptiste 18, Nice, vicino al porto al nostro Hotel Campanile, Boulevard Risso 58. Un breve giro a piedi nella deliziosa città, poi a cena al famoso Café de Turin dove ci attendono le famose ostriche, i crostacei ed il pescato squisito.
Il 3 giugno GEMINI partiremo da Nizza, Hotel Campanile, ci dividiamo in gruppo A e B. Gruppo A esce da Nizza sul Col’Aspremont, da Contes a l’Escarène, Col de Braus a Sospel. Da qui il celeberrimo Col de Turini del Rallye di Montecarlo con lo stop al Ranch. Qui entriamo nelle gorges, pima quella del Vesubie fino a St. Martin de Vesubie, poi dalle Gorge de Bramafan a quelle del Vionene fino a Valberg, punto di pranzo e rifornimento al Chalet Suisse. Dalle Gorges Daluis scendiamo verso Castellane, affrontiamo l’incredibile Canyon Corniche sublime del Verdon da Trigance ad Aiguines, poi intorno al Lac de St Croix arriviamo a Moustiers-Ste-Marie, e ci ritroviamo con il Gruppo B per il pernottamento al Hotel des Restanques e cena al Restaurant Les Magnans. Il Gruppo B si dirige St Paul-en-Vence e visita la Fondazione Maeght per poi dirigersi verso le Gorges de Var passando da Col de Vence a Coursegoules, Roquesteron, dalle Gorges de Riolan fino a Puget-Theniers per fermarsi a pranzo a Castellane al Restaurant le Saint Michel. Nel pomeriggio segue un giro sulla famosa Route Napoleon verso St-Andre-des-Alpes e Barrème per tornare su Castellane, poi Canyon Corniche sublime del Verdon da Trigance ad Aiguines, per finire per vie dirette su Moustiers-Ste-Marie.
Il 4 giugno APOLLO Gruppo A e Gruppo viaggiano insieme la mattina, partiamo da Moustiers-Ste-Marie verso Ovest nella valle del Durance a Manosque, da qui verso Nord fino al Fort de Montlaux fino a Forcalquier, la città dei cordai, e da qui arriviamo al Chateau de Sauvan, reggia privata di Maria Antonietta, regina di Francia, a Mane. Dopo la visita, pranziamo al Restaurant La Pastorale a Reillanne. Nel pomeriggio si forma il Gruppo A ed il Gruppo B, il primo si inoltra verso le pianure di lavanda in fiore sotto il Parc des Montaignes Luberon per poi risalire direzione nord, da Sault verso il giro delle celebri vette del Mont Ventoux e proseguire verso i monti del Lure e Chabre, verso la Durance ed il canale di Ventavon da dove giriamo intorno alla Baie des Moulettes formato dalla Durance e finalmente arriveremo a Barcelonnette dove alloggiamo al Hotel Azteca, a cena al Le Bocaccino. Il Gruppo B parte sulla D14 verso la Crepe de Gamby passando da St Etienne-les-Orgues per trovarsi a Pelpin sulla Valle del Durance, da qui verso Nordest sulla Gorge de Sasse verso La-Motte-de-Caire, poi Epinasse, si passa davanti al Lac des Moulettes per arrivare finalmente a Barcelonnette, nostra meta finale.
Il 5 giugno VOSTOK rientriamo verso casa, da Barcelonnette Gruppo A e B viaggia insieme verso Jausiers ed il Colle della Maddalena ad Argentera entriamo nella valle della Stura di Monte e nelle pianure del Cuneese, alla vista dei rilievi della Alta Valle Pésio ci ritroviamo al Ristornate Bue Grasso di Carrù (a due passi dalla A6 Torino-Savona) per la celebrazione del Bollito Piemontese, qui ci lasceremo per prendere ognuno la sua strada, fino alla prossima insieme!

Motogiro Alpes Maritimes Mk III 2022 June 1st – 5th
Friends,
Motogiro Alpes Maritimes 2022 1 – 5 June, summarized, 40 friends, beautiful bikes, fabulous riding, 1,500 km of spectacular roads, beautiful mansions, cozy hotels, tasty food – all in 5 days you wish would never end! Whereever possible, we will form two groups, once steady leisure and another faster that will choose roads with a more demanding profile and longer distances.
It starts on June 1st DISCOVERY from Lugano, and in other cities such as Bologna, Rome and Verona other groups will be formed with their own routing which will take them to the first leg of the departure, towards the Castle of Bubbio, Alessandria; the Lugano detachment will head from Valli Varesine to the ferry boat Laveno-Verbania, Lago Maggiore, from Borgomanero we go up to the Biellese Prealps on the Panoramica Zegna SS232, Quittengo and then go down to Biella and Candelo, where we will have lunch at Locanda La Greppia. From here we leave again crossing the plains of the Vercelli area, the Principality of Lucedio, the Po, towards the hills under the Asti villages and castles, and finally in the Langhe, from Canelli towards the Castle of Bubbio, our meeting point, dinner, overnight stay and departure to France after breakfast the next day.
On 2 June MERCURY, starting from Castello di Bubbio, we climb the ridge of the Alte Langhe and Monferrato towards Garessio, Pieve di Teco, Col di Nava and under Monte Monega towards Triora, the perched village of witches, for lunch at Trattoria L’Erba Gatta, after lunch and visit of the village, we follow the high peaks on our right towards the south-west that pass the border with France, in the direction of Ventimiglia, Isolabona, shortly after we turn to Trucco, here we go up the Roia valley towards the Oliveta pass on the French border, here we enter on the hairpin bends between pine forests and limestone rocks that lead us to Sospel, a refreshment and refueling, then the Escarène and there appears soon the town of Nice, where we stay in the center near the port, the Hotel Campanile. A short walk around the delightful city, then dinner at the famous Café de Turin where the famous oysters, shellfish and exquisite catch awaiting us.
On 3 June GEMINI we will leave Nice, Hotel Campanile, we split into groups A and B. Group A tackles from Nice the Col’Aspremont, from Contes to l’Escarène, Col de Braus in Sospel. Hence the famous Col de Turini of the Monte Carlo Rally with a stop at the rally attendants spot Ranch. Here we enter the gorges, first that of Vesubie up to St. Martin de Vesubie, then from the Gorge de Bramafan to those of Vionene up to Valberg, lunch and refueling point at Chalet Suisse. From the Gorges Daluis we descend towards Castellane, we face the incredible Sublime Canyon Corniche del Verdon from Trigance to Aiguines, then around the Lac de St Croix we arrive at Moustiers-Ste-Marie, and we meet again with Group B for an overnight stay at the Hotel des Restanques and dinner at the Restaurant Les Magnans. Group B heads to St Paul-en-Vence and visits the Maeght Foundation and then towards the Gorges de Var passing from Col de Vence to Coursegoules, Roquesteron, from the Gorges de Riolan to Puget-Theniers to stop for lunch in Castellane al Restaurant le Saint Michel. In the afternoon follows a ride on the famous Route Napoleon towards St-Andre-des-Alpes and Barrème to return to Castellane, then the sublime Canyon Corniche del Verdon from Trigance to Aiguines, to finish by direct routes on Moustiers-Ste-Marie.
On 4 June APOLLO Group A and Group travel together in the morning, we leave Moustiers-Ste-Marie to the west in the Durance valley in Manosque, from here to the north to Fort de Montlaux to Forcalquier, the city of rope makers, and from here we arrive at the Chateau de Sauvan, private and last residence of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, in Mane. After the visit, we have lunch at the Restaurant La Pastorale in Reillanne. In the afternoon, Group A and Group B are formed, the Group A moving towards the plains of lavender in bloom under the Parc des Montaignes Luberon and then going up northwards, from Sault towards the tour of the famous peaks of Mont Ventoux and continuing towards the Monti del Lure and Chabre, towards the Durance and the Ventavon canal from where we turn around the Baie des Moulettes formed by the Durance and finally we will arrive in Barcelonnette where we stay at the Hotel Azteca, for dinner at Le Bocaccino. Group B starts on the D14 towards the Crepe de Gamby passing through St Etienne-les-Orgues to find itself in Pelpin on the Durance Valley, from here towards the northeast on the Gorge de Sasse towards La-Motte-de-Caire, then Epinasse, you pass in front of the Lac des Moulettes to finally arrive at Barcelonnette, our final destination.
On June 5 VOSTOK we return home, from Barcelonnette Group A and B we travel together towards Jausiers and the Colle della Maddalena in Argentera we enter the Stura di Monte valley and the Cuneo plains, at the sight of the reliefs of the Alta Valle Pésio we find ourselves at the Ristorante Bue Grasso di Carrù CN (a stone’s throw from the A6 Turin-Savona) for the celebration of Piedmonts boiled meat, here we will leave each other to take his own path, until the next one together!
